The short version
The apps listed below collect no personal data, contain no advertising or third-party analytics, and do not track you across apps or websites. Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple through the App Store, under Apple’s privacy policy. Empoc does not receive your name, email address or payment details when you buy an app.
Disktivity
- Collects no personal data and sends nothing off your Mac. It makes no network connections.
- Reads the disk activity counters macOS keeps (how many bytes have been read and written) to decide which color to show. It never reads the contents of your files.
- Stores one setting, whether Show Text is on, in its own preferences on your Mac. If you turn on Launch at Login, macOS records that in your Login Items.
- Contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
